Holeshot Racers - New PBs

Sept 14 & 15, 2013

On Sept 14 & 15, 2013 in Mankato, MN two of our dogs on Holeshot Action ran new PBs at the Stack Attack Fall Fling Tournament.

Congratulations to Beeline and Ange for a new PB of 3.65 as well as to Devo and Tanya for a new PB of 3.67.

Holeshot Racers placed 2nd in Division 1 on Saturday and 1st on Sunday with a best time of 15.36. Our open team placed 1st on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday.

Great job team!!

Holeshot Racers sets new team record of 15.250!!

July 13, 2013

On July 13, 2013 in Hazelridge, MB at our own tournament Holeshot Racers top team, Holeshot Action, ran a new team record time of 15.250!! The dogs in the line-up were BeeLine (Border x Whippet - 3.72), BangHer (Border x Whippet - 3.65), Bimmer (Mix - 9 inch height dog - 3.88), and Devo (Whippet - 3.90), with a .08 start.

We are very proud of our little height dog Bimmer who, along with his amazing handler Monica, set a new personal PB of 3.88 in the pack!!

We had many other accomplishments that weekend! BeeLine set a new PB of 3.67, Ynot set a new PB of 3.83, Devo set a new PB of 3.66, and Cito set a new PB of 3.93!

Crush got his FD and FDX and posted a few 3.9s in lead, not bad for only being a whippet of 16 months at his first tournament!

Disco ran his first full-time tournament and was solid all weekend!

Misty returned to racing after a long break due to an injury and was running hard and very glad to be back!

Tag was presented with his plaque for 40,000 points, which he earned in March and is waiting to be presented with his Iron Dog Award for competing for 10 years in flyball!

Echo received her Onyx award for 20,000 points, which she earned in July of last year!

Ange had 2 perfect starts on Sunday!

It was an amazing weekend! Thank you to all the teams who came out to support our tournament! Thank you to all the companies that donated wonderful items to our silent auction!

A big thank you to Walter Boni and his team from RE/MAX Executives Reality for donating a pair of Winnipeg Jets Tickets, congratulations to our lucky winner!!

A big thank you to Paws N Go & Pet Food Source for donating all the yummy treats that we used as prizes! All the dogs appreciated the delicious goodies after a long weekend of racing!

Thank you to CARSTAR Manitoba for stopping in Sunday and supporting our tournament! The kids enjoyed the face painting!

Thank you to Hazelridge and Hazelridge Sports Complex for once again allowing us to host our tournament at your incredible facility! We all appreciated the amazing breakfasts and lunches you served over the two days!

Holeshot Racers sets new team record of 15.341!!

On June 23, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Animal Inn's tournament Holeshot Racers top team, Holeshot Action, ran a new team record time of 15.341!! The dogs in the line-up were BeeLine (Border x Whippet - 3.72), BangHer (Border x Whippet - 3.60), Bimmer (Mix - 9 inch height dog - 4.04), and Devo (Whippet - 3.81), with a .08 start.

We are very proud of our top team dogs, handlers, pass callers, and everyone on the team who helped make this incredible accomplishment possible. We are very excited to race again in July 2013 and will be striving to beat this record once again!

Holeshot Racers named NAFA Regular Champions 2012

We were very excited when the news came out that Holeshot Racers was not only named Regional Champions but NAFA Regular Champions as well for 2012!! The title only goes to one team each year and is based on Regional standings/points and the teams average best 6 finishes.

Great job team!!

Holeshot Racers named Regional Champions 2012 - Region 8

For the fifth consecutive year Holeshot Racers were named Regional Champions. Holeshot Racers attended 24 tournaments and finished the season with 27 Regional points and with a best time of 15.690 for the fiscsal year!!

We are well on our way to achieving this title again in 2013!!

Razor becomes the first dog in Western Canada to earn the Hobbes Award!!

We are very proud to announce that Razor, our amazingly reliable height dog, on June 7, 2008, became the first dog in Western Canada to earn the Hobbes award. This award is achieved by a dog that earns 100,000 points!!

We would like to thank Flyball Fanatics for making this an extra special day for Razor.

Congratulations to Angela Stefanec and Razor for their amazing teamwork over the years!!
