ABOUT US

Holeshot Racers is a Flyball team based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The team was formed in February 2006 and has been driven to continue improving ever since.

At present time, we currently hold a team record time of 15.238, which was achieved on Sunday Oct 20, 2013 at CanAm 2013!!

The dogs in the line-up were:

BeeLine - Border x Whippet

BangHer - Border x Whippet

Bimmer - Mix (Height dog setting 9s)

Devo - Whippet

We pride ourselves on the incredible success of our Top Team, however we also take pride in that ALL the dogs on our team, no matter what breed or speed they run, they are encouraged to be the best they can be in the sport. All our teams are very successful at tournaments, we are constantly setting new personal best times or achieving other personal successes.

We currently hold the record for the fastest time for a Veterans team, we were able to beat the record of 16.71 that we had set previously and achieved a new record time of 16.32 on July 13, 2013 at our own tournament held in Hazelridge, MB. We were extremely proud of our Veteran dogs as most of them are 8 years old and up and they were able to set a team time that was faster than some of the regular team times that day! Not bad for senior dogs!

Holeshot Racers has been named Regional Champions for 5 consecutive years and we are well on our way to achieving this title again in 2013. We were also named NAFA Regular Champions in 2010 and were recently given the title once again for 2012.

Our dogs participate and perform very successfully in many other sports as well such as agility, disc, lure coursing, skjorring, long distance running, swimming etc.

We pride ourselves on keeping our dogs in the best of health and encouraging them to participate in range of different sports to gain the benefits of cross-training.

Our team has a great time together, whether we are working hard with each other to train our dogs or just sitting around a bonfire. We enjoy spending time together outside of flyball as well.
